Bethany Brill, My Go-To Hair and Makeup Artist, in Direct Sunlight

I had such a great time shooting Bethany Brill today!  B. is my go-to hair and makeup artist.  She is super talented, has phenomenal taste, and she's her own greatest work of art.  She's a modern day Edie Sedgwick minus the smack (this girl goes to church every Sunday!).  A fixture on fashion shoots, plenty of photographers have captured how cute Bethany is -- she has dimples to die for.  But for our shoot, she wanted to go gritty and explore her tough side.  We drew inspiration from early Madonna and downtown's Basquiat era.  Oh, and yes, Bethany is that girl in the latest Blackberry commercial...
