Great shoot with Marymount College musical theater major Kayla Wickes this afternoon. What a face -- look at the size of her eyes! To say Kayla does not love to be photographed would be an understatement. At first it was painful for her but we pushed through together and, once we got past the nerves, it evolved into a really great shoot. She ended up accomplishing a lot. I love to see young actors find their strength!
I wish black & white headshots still served a purpose because they can be so beautiful. I usually throw in a few anyway just because they're fun to have. But a color headshot is the industry standard these days.
