Wedding in Fort Tryon Park, NYC

Eric and Marina got married a few weeks ago at the breathtaking Heather Garden, overlooking the Hudson River in Fort Tryon Park, NYC.  This park was a revelation to me -- I grew up in New York City but never knew about this glorious park to the north of me in Inwood.  So stunningly beautiful with lush forest and views of the New Jersey palisades.  After the ceremony, the party moved a few steps away to Bette Midler's restaurant (well, her initiative's:  all proceeds go to the New York Restoration Project) the New Leaf Restaurant, right inside the park.  This was another revelation!  The ambiance and food can compete with the best of Soho.  Oh, and Eric and Marina were pretty nice too!  Check out Marina's whimsical dress!  Lots of fun.
